Ride and Stride

This takes place on the second Saturday of September between 10am and 6pm. Cyclists, walkers and people in motorised wheelchairs raise money for our historic churches and for their own place of worship. They do this by seeking sponsorship and visiting as many places of worship on the yearly list as they can then selecting their own route and travelling at their own speed.

This year's event...

Will take place on Saturday 11th September.

What is the purpose?

Ride and Stride involves people of all ages who spend an enjoyable day helping to raise money towards the repair of historic churches as well as for their own church or any place of worship they nominate. This promotes interest in our heritage and brings together Christians of all denominations as they visit each other's churches.
